What organisations often ask.

Is manual handling training enough?

Training can support a well-designed task, but it should not be the primary response to a poorly designed handling system. Engineering, layout, load, equipment and workflow controls are usually more durable.

Can you assess pushing and pulling?

Yes. Push-pull tasks can be evaluated alongside lifting and carrying, including handle position, force, floor conditions, wheels, turning, gradients and travel distance.

Can you help select handling equipment?
