UX/UI & usability
Make workplace systems easier to understand, decide and act through.
Workplace UX is not about making a screen look attractive. It is about whether people can find the right information, understand system state, complete critical tasks, recover from errors and make reliable decisions under realistic conditions.

Where we add value
Challenges we help solve.
- Users describe a system as confusing, slow or difficult to learn.
- A dashboard or workflow creates unnecessary navigation and information burden.
- A new digital product or internal system needs user research or usability evaluation.
- An interface is used in a high-workload or high-consequence operating environment.
Consulting approach
Rigour that leads to better decisions.
Each engagement is scoped around the decision, operating context and consequence. We combine direct observation, appropriate HFE methods and senior professional judgement so recommendations are proportionate, defensible and practical to implement.
Understand users, work context, goals, constraints and critical task flows.
Use contextual inquiry, task analysis, heuristic review and cognitive walkthroughs to identify friction.
Develop or review information architecture, interaction patterns and interface concepts.
Test representative tasks with users and convert findings into prioritised design changes.
Client value
Clear direction for implementation.
- User and task insights
- UX/UI and workflow findings
- Usability test plan and results
- Prioritised interface recommendations
- Design requirements and validation criteria
Context-specific delivery
International HFE, applied to the realities of your operation.
Human Factors & Ergonomics is most effective when it reflects the people, technology, standards, culture and constraints of the actual work system. Our practice is based in Singapore, with engagements structured around the specific context of each client and project location.

Client questions
What organisations often ask.
Do you design consumer apps?
Our strongest focus is workplace and operational UX: systems, dashboards, tools and interfaces used to perform work. We can support interface design, but our differentiator is the Human Factors perspective.
What is usability testing?
Representative users attempt realistic tasks while the evaluator observes whether the design supports successful, efficient and understandable interaction. The goal is evidence for design decisions.
Can you review an existing system without redesigning it?
Yes. A heuristic review, cognitive walkthrough or task-based usability evaluation can identify priority issues and provide actionable recommendations to your design or vendor team.
